A Typical Day in Middle School

The ‘Early Morning Club’ in the Dining Room is starts at 8am every weekday morning for those parents who drop their child at school early.  Otherwise your child may be dropped off later (hopefully using the ‘Kiss and Drop’ approach), ready to enter their classroom at 8.30am for Registration.

A typical days lessons includes English and Mathematics in the morning, with other lessons filling up the remainder of the day – usually there is PE, Swimming or Games each day. During the morning break children are given a snack and a drink and at lunchtime they have a choice of menu, including the salad bar, a pudding and a drink.  The lessons finish at 4pm and children either go home or have a snack and a drink before starting an organised After School Activity.  Most lessons are taught by the form teacher.  Spanish, RE, ICT, Music, PE, Swimming and Games are taught by subject specialists.
