Food & Nutrition

All our menus are designed to offer two hot main courses, a vegetarian hot dish and a well stocked salad bar. We aim to provide most of your children’s recommended “5 a day” fruit and fresh vegetables – making it easier when at home to provide the children’s full quota.

A bread basket is offered every day with locally baked white and wholemeal breads.

Morning and afternoon snacks are offered as appropraite and a hot tea is provided at 5.10pm in our Late Club.

Wherever possible we do not use ingredients with artificial colourings or additives. Nuts and nut based products are not served, however it should be noted that our suppliers are mostly unable to confirm their products as nut free.

We cater for specific allergies that individual children may have.
