Throughout their time at this school, each child will cover areas of study which include using ICT to collect, analyse and present information in a variety of ways, using ICT to model and simulate situations, creating and manipulating images, video and sound and how computers actually work. One vital aspect of ICT lessons at Chesham Preparatory School is ensuring that pupils are confident and safe when using ICT.
The skills and understandings our pupils develop in their ICT lessons feed into all other subjects, granting access to countless resources and information and helping the children to become discerning learners who approach their tasks with creativity and confidence. Our teachers also use ICT, such as interactive whiteboards and a range of specialist software, to deliver exciting and engaging lessons.
ICT is an ever-evolving subject and we endeavour to stay ahead of the game, by introducing new software as well as ensuring our pupils have the opportunity to discuss and experience new breakthroughs or ideas in ICT.
