To provide an environment which encourages endeavour, achievement and enjoyment amongst pupils and staff alike.
To provide a learning environment which is stimulating, rewarding, safe and secure and one in which pupils and staff feel respected, valued, supported and encouraged to make the best of their talents and opportunities.
To provide a co-educational environment, which caters to the needs of both boys and girls.
To foster a genuine feeling of school community based on strong family and Christian values.
To prepare all pupils in such a way that they are able to transfer to and thereafter thrive at their secondary schools.
To focus on pupils' strengths rather than their weaknesses, to celebrate their successes and achievements and to provide positive encouragement to all pupils.
The school's motto: “Each for all and all for each”, exemplifies the genuine feeling of togetherness and strong family values which permeate every area of school life. It is our belief that children deserve to develop and grow within a happy, friendly and supportive environment and that they learn best when they feel content, engaged, captivated and involved in the learning process.
Building and development has continued over the past fifteen years and the School has now reached its optimum size. Recent projects just completed include a truly stunning Sports Hall, a magnificent new Classroom and Music Block, a new Astroturf, a new Learning Support Centre and a new Staff Room. We also have purpose-built facilities for Science, Art, DT and ICT. The School is “networked” and the Governors have recently invested considerable funds into the new RM system. All classrooms are equipped with SMARTboards.
