Year 2 have a bubbly good time!
The first District Cross Country event of the season took place at RAF Halton on Saturday 16th of October. Chesham Prep had 57 children competing in 8 races from Year 3 up to Year 6.
For the Year 3s it was their first event and the girls especially had a fantastic race, with 5 of them coming in the first eleven places.
Overall Chesham Prep won two team golds, two team bronze and one fourth place team medal. Individually the children came away winning fifteen individual medals – given out to top ten finishers.
The next race is on Saturday 20th November at Hawridge and Cholesbury and no doubt Chesham Prep will be well represented on the medal rostrum again.
Congratulations to all our runners.
