After a trouble free journey we arrived at the Hotel in the afternoon, collected our skis and boots and retired early to prepare for our first day of skiing.
There had been plenty of snowfall during the previous week, enabling us to enjoy the good snow cover and flawless weather – as well as the empty pistes of the week after New Year!
Everybody made excellent progress, joined in the après ski with gusto and behaved so well that compliments were attracted from virtually everyone that we came into contact with.
For me the highlight had to be our picnic – sitting in the chairs made from our skis in the off piste, during the Milky Way Ski Safari day!
We always look forward to the annual ski trip; it is a lovely start to the year.
