Following the treacherous conditions experienced by many this morning, we have decided to cancel swimming on Thursday morning.  A sharp frost is predicted and there is rain in the air as I pen this at 3.45pm on Wednesday.  Please take great care in the morning on your way to school.  Please feel able to delay your journey to school if you feel it prudent to do so.

This must be the full set of weather experiences over the past few days.  We have had the lot: snow, rain, wind, sleet, sun, big freeze, black ice.  The roads were treacherous this morning so please take great care again tomorrow morning. 
The staff are all in safely and so are most of the children.  The Year 4 swimmers with 3S had an extended visit to Amersham pool and are still not back due to the chaos on White Hill in Chesham and elsewhere.
Some staff have abandoned their cars in Chesham (safely!) and have walked to school, marshalling CPS children as they walked past CPS cars stuck in traffic by Chesham High School. A quick trek across the fields and they arrived safely, if with wet feet!  (Photos to follow)
