After nine years I will be moving on to pastures new in September, where I will be enjoying life in the heart of Kent in the Garden of England. You know, sometimes things are just meant to be. When we try to make things happen the way we want them to, one of two things can occur; either one finds one has pushed against an open door or the door remains firmly closed with a large "No Entry" sign stuck to it.

I was recently invited to attend a local senior school evening for Prep School Heads and was asked ahead (no pun intended) of the dinner to provide some information about myself. My first reaction was to complain to the Almighty; my second thought was to wonder who the information was for; my third was to consider cancelling! In the end, I wrote a brief CV and sent it off.

The Spring(!) term Open Day is usually the quietest of the three that we hold each year but this year was the exception. In October 2008 (last term) we had our busiest EVER and this term we enjoyed the busiest ever Spring term Open Day. It would appear that there are still plenty of parents seeking a quality Prep school education for their children.
