Term begins with a snowball fight!

At last! Back to work with nearly 150 children and very nearly all the staff. What an effort! My thanks to the Estates team who have allowed us to open today and to my staff who have moved heaven and earth and lots of snow to be here. See you on Monday.

Headmaster to leave CPS in July 2010

Headmaster, James Marjoribanks, will be leaving Chesham Preparatory School at the end of the summer term to take up the Headship of Holmewood House, a highly regarded prep school in Kent.

U11 Girls IAPS Regional Championships

Chesham Preparatory School qualified for the National finals of the Incorporated Association of Preparatory Schools U11 national hockey finals for the 2^nd year running. The championship finals were held at Queenswood School in Hatfield on December 2^nd.

Dorset Rugby Tour 2009

Last weekend, Mr Bateson, Mr Elliott and Mr Blundell accompanied 13 boys from Year 6 on a rugby tour to Dorset. Although we experienced some truly shocking weather, as well as being hit by the dreaded flu bug, we enjoyed a fantastic experience in the beautiful county of Dorset.

Under 9s Outstanding in Rugby Tournament

On Saturday the 7th November, the Under 9 Rugby team representing CPS, competed at the Davenies Rugby tournament. This is always a tough competition with the best teams on the Prep school circuit. The sun shone and the boys produced some truly sparkling rugby.
