Twelve pupils from Year 6 had a fantastic day competing in the Winton Humanities Cup at Stowe School. The theme this year was the Middle East and the children had to compete in challenges across various Humanities subjects including History, Geography, Politics, Religion & Philosophy and the History of Art. A highlight of the day was the Politics session where the group had to act as the House of Parliament and try to pass a bill into law against an opposition. The children behaved really well on the day and learnt a lot about the Middle East from the different activities. We didn’t win this year but the children should be proud of how they performed.
