Extended Care Options

At Chesham Prep we understand how important wraparound care in a safe and happy environment is for many families. We provide a Breakfast Club service and two after school clubs – all are accessible to every pupil in the school.

This is in addition to the after school activity clubs.

The supervisory staff are fully trained and qualified and provide an interesting and varied programme of activities for the children.

Breakfast Club

Nursery to Year 6

Time: 7.30am until 8.00am

Location: Dining Room

Included:  Choice of cereals, fruits, yoghurts, pastries, toast and preserves.

Cost: £4.15 per session.

Little Owls

Nursery to Year 2 (Years 3-6 are in lessons until 4pm)

Time: 3.30pm – 4pm

Location: Pre-Prep classrooms (rotated)

Cost: No charge

Late Club

All Years

Time: 4pm – 6pm

Included: High tea at 5.10pm

Cost: £4.15 per half hour

 

Holiday Club

Chesham Preparatory School operates a Holiday Club for all pupils (Nursery to Year 6) during all school holidays, except bank holidays and when the school is completely closed during the Christmas period.

The club is run by Chesham Prep Staff, and our specialist teachers are heavily involved in running these sessions.  The Club offers a variety of activities and sports, with particular emphasis on being outside wherever possible, these include:

  • Cricket
  • Den Building
  • Football
  • Forest School
  • Golf
  • Hockey
  • Lego
  • Music
  • Netball

Nursery and Reception are based in Reception and Years 1 – 6 are based in the sports hall.

The Holiday Club runs from 8.30am to 4pm and costs £40 per day.

Visit Us

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our wonderful school. At the whole school Open Mornings there will be tours of the school and the opportunity to speak to our class teachers and specialist teachers as you go round. At the end of the tour you will meet me and members of the Senior Management Team and the Registrar, Mandy Chase, will also be available to answer any admissions questions.
