Second Hand Uniform

Chesham Prep also has a shop on site (next to the Astro), which stocks second hand uniform. It is run by Sharon Cole-Johnson, along with other parents volunteers from the PTA. Parents can sell items of CPS uniform that their child can no longer use but which are in good condition through the shop. Proceeds of any items sold – minus a small contribution to PTA funds – are returned to parents via BACS.

Please read our ‘Guide to Sellers and Buyers‘ for the terms and conditions, which apply to any sales of second hand uniform by the shop.

Please see our ‘Target Price List’ for the prices we charge for items sold in the shop.

If you wish to sell items in the school shop, please complete the Items Received Confirmation Form form and hand it in along with your items.

New Payment System

We take payments via the iZettle in the shop making transactions for purchasing much smoother. There is also an option to have a receipt emailed for your purchase. As of 22nd March 2019, we do not take cash.

We will run the sessions on a first come first serve basis, with 2 households shopping at a time. While Covid restriction apply, please may we remind you to wear a mask and to please wait outside until a volunteer calls you in. If you are dropping items into the shop for us to sell on your behalf, may we request that you have completed and signed the ‘items received form’ (which can be found on the website and portal, under the uniform section) and to place the items in a bag with the form, in the black PTA boxes. These will be located outside the shop during the opening times.

The shop is located opposite the astro, please do not leave items outside the school office.

We ask that you respect currently social distancing guidelines whilst in the shop and wear a mask if possible. Due to the small space we have, we may allow one household to shop at a time. Should you arrive at the shop and there is a customer inside, please wait outside until the customer has finished and left the shop.

Umbrellas –

We have excellent stock of the school branded umbrellas in the shop and currently selling at the reduced the price of £10. They are large (golf sized), windproof, extremely sturdy and perfect for watching matches from the side lines during the wetter weather, or even to keep handy in the car for our ever unpredictable English weather. Please do come support the school and purchase one.

For ANY second-hand shop related query or should you require any further assistance, please email secondhandshop@cheshamprep.co.uk

Many thanks,

Chesham Preparatory School
Open Days 22nd and 25th September

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our wonderful school on either Wednesday 22nd or Saturday 25th September.  There will be tours of the school and the opportunity to speak to our class teachers and specialist teachers as you go round.

“This is a real community school that lives up to its promise of making learning fun, and the results speak for themselves.” The Good Schools Guide 2020/21.

Huge heartfelt thanks for the brilliant remote provision this week and delivering superb teaching in, yet again, a very challenging situation.  A Parent.
