Well done to Lucius for being Creative Designer of the Week!✏️
Lucius created this black ink drawing of Harrods as part of the Year 6 Architecture project. He took inspiration from the artist Stephen Wiltshire, known for drawing detailed city skylines. Lucius has captured the building’s many windows and decorative features with careful, precise linework. 🖋️

Our Harvest Festival brought the whole school together to sing. 🎶 Year 5 drama pupils delivered an inspirational piece about the importance of harvest and the environment, including an insightful message about limiting our screen time to appreciate the natural world around us. 🌾
Rob Perkins, Curate for St Mary’s Church in Chesham, joined us to share a few words on how crops grow and provide us with food. 🍎

Year 1 pupils have been learning about Peru, inspired by Paddington, and made their own llamas as part of it🦙
No two llamas were the same, and the pupils had lots of fun demonstrating their creativity 🎨

A select group of Year 6 pupils — Rafferty, Sharli, Maddie, Emilia, Archie and Max — attended a creative writing day at Haileybury School 📚
The day included poetry, gothic writing and character creation workshops, plus a literature hunt around Haileybury’s library. Pupils wrote nature-inspired poetry under the willow trees and crafted gothic stories rich with literary techniques.
They represented CPS brilliantly throughout — articulate, enthusiastic, and even the fastest Kahoot quiz winners on the day! Lunch in Haileybury’s dining hall rounded off a memorable trip for all involved ✨
