🌟We say a fond farewell to two true CPS legends 🌟

After 20 wonderful years, Mrs Maria Patel leaves us to spend more time with her family and indulge her love of travel. Her infectious fun and laughter have touched countless pupils throughout her time at CPS.

After an incredible 38 years of teaching, we also celebrate the retirement of Mr Martin Turner (Mr T), who in more recent years has led our Design and Technology department — a familiar and much-loved face across generations of CPS families.

Thank you both for your dedication, passion and the lasting impact you have had on so many young lives. We wish you every happiness for the future 💕

🏆 Our annual Speech Day ceremony proudly celebrated the achievements of our pupils during another wonderful year at CPS.

🎹 Thank you to our guest speaker, Nicholas McCarthy — a British classical pianist born without a right hand, who became the first left-hand-only pianist to graduate from the Royal College of Music in its 130-year history. As a founding member of the British Paraorchestra, he performed alongside Coldplay at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Paralympic Games.

🎶 Our choir and orchestra provided beautiful music throughout the ceremony, alongside a performance from Nicholas himself.

💙 Six amazing kids, one huge challenge! 🌞

Ava, Joel, Mateo, Olivia, Elodie and Maya — our current and past pupils — took on a 6.5 mile walk across London’s bridges as Team “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” in memory of Chris, a much-loved parent and former pupil of our school community — raising over £1000 for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) 👏

Despite the heat, they did brilliantly and did us all proud💪✨
