🏊‍♀️📣 Swimathon Grand Total 📣🏊

We are delighted to share the fantastic achievements from our Sponsored swim last term. The children have once again surpassed all our expectations, swimming an incredible 6,600 lengths and 6,647 widths—a remarkable 140 miles in total! Their hard work, determination, and enthusiasm have made us extremely proud.

We have also been overwhelmed by the generosity and support shown by all our families. Thanks to the CPS community we have raised a grand total of £10,098.54 for four very deserving charities. Your contributions make a real difference, and we are truly grateful.

The house totals are as follows:

Aylward @younglivesvscancer : £3243

Attenborough @bbowt : £1957

Nightingale @chilternmusictherapy : £1754

Stevenson @helenanddouglashouse : £3144

🎨 Our first Creative Designer award of 2026 goes to Vaia in Year 5 who created a colourful festive cover design, with the theme Peace on Earth, for The Week Junior.

We were delighted to hear that her entry had been selected as one of the top five highly commended illustrations and was then published in the Christmas edition of the magazine!

Considering that there were more than 760 entries and also that she was the youngest entrant to receive a highly commended award this is a huge achievement.

Well done Vaia 👏

💖 As we end another wonderful term at Chesham Prep it was time to say goodbye to two of our longstanding and much loved staff members.

Mr Nick, who has been an integral part of our Estates team for just shy of 20 years, and Mrs Denise Scott who has been our lovely and brilliant Heads PA for the last 14 years are both retiring today.

We wish them all the best for a peaceful and happy retirement, the whole school community will miss them very much.

To all our Chesham Prep family, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎄
