At Chesham Prep we wholeheartedly encourage a healthy lifestyle. Our goal is to help pupils of all ages enjoy balanced meals with the occasional treat. Good table manners are strongly encouraged.
We have employed Accent Catering Services Ltd as our Caterers for the last 5 years and they ensure that the structure and content of all our menus promote the wellbeing of everyone we serve.
All food is cooked daily from scratch by our skilled in-house catering team.
Accent Catering’s accreditations include the Soil Association Food for Life Mark, Red Tractor Meat, RSPCA Free Range Eggs and Fair Trade Ingredients. They actively support British farmers in our purchasing practices and use local suppliers where possible.
Our team exceed all the recommendations of the National School Food Guidelines. A series of recipes have been developed that help reduce the amount of sugar on our menus whilst still serving delicious food.
We are able to cater to many special dietary requirements and all our menus are allergen coded. We are also a nut free school.
Themed days are a regular feature to create interest for our pupils such as Pancake Day, Bonfire Night and many more.
‘Well Seasoned’, each month a different seasonal ingredient is picked to create exciting new recipes, exploring a variety of the freshest fruit and veg every month.
