Dear Parents,

A wonderful way to end the term with two stunning carol services at St Mary’s Church in Chesham. The children sang and performed beautifully, lighting up the church with their happiness and song. The school choir was outstanding and I cannot thank Mrs Watson enough for helping them to accomplish such dizzying heights. Huge congratulations go to all the children who took part in both services and the amazing music and drama teachers for their work behind the scenes. It was a pleasure to return to St Mary’s and be able to celebrate Christmas and the end of term in such a fitting venue. The staff choir added an extra Christmas touch and it is lovely to see the children excited by their teachers performing too.

School reports will be coming home today and I do congratulate all the children on the incredibly positive comments from their teachers. While we are focused on giving the children a wealth of opportunity with regards to curricular and extra-curricular activity, the academic drive is all important and it has been wonderful to hear of the excellent progress being made.

Over the last two weeks we have been enchanted by Christmas Nativities, carol services and parties, excited by Christmas jumpers and competitions and thoroughly enjoyed a sumptuous Christmas lunch. The children have had a fabulous end to the term.

I would like to send you all my very best wishes for an enjoyable and entertaining Christmas and New Year. I hope that you all have a wonderful time celebrating with family and friends.
